For Cartridge Filters: Adjust spray nozzle to stream, spray inside fabric pleats. Wait 4 minutes. Hose off using garden hose. For best results, allow to air dry.
For Open Tank DE Filters: Drain water from tank exposing grids. Rinse off old DE powder. Spray directly onto the grids until saturated. Wait 4 minutes. Hose off using garden hose with spray nozzle. Open inlet valve to allow water to rise over grids. Close inlet valves, drain tank, refill tank pre-coat as usual.
For Pressure DE Filters: Drain water from tank, remove lid and hose old DE of of fabric. Remove grids as recommended by filter manufacturer. Spray directly onto the grids until saturated. Wait 4 minutes. Hose off.
NOTE: This product is safe for use as a general purpose cleaner. We’ve found that it does a great job cleaning barbecue grills or anything with heavy grease!
